Lumen Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the "Lumen" service ("Service"), an AI marriage restoration mentor offered by LCN Serviços Digitais Ltda, a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ 47.105.980/0001-50 ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using Lumen, you ("User") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
Honest summary: Lumen is an AI-assisted coaching and educational tool for relationships and marriage restoration, based on the methodology of Luciano Castro. It is not therapy and does not replace psychotherapy, professional counseling, medical care, or clinical treatment of any kind. Situations involving risk to life, violence, or severe crises require a human professional. Individual results vary; no outcome, including reconciliation, is ever promised or guaranteed.
1. What the Service is
Lumen is a conversational AI mentor trained on Luciano Castro's marriage restoration and emotional development methodology. The User interacts by text (and, in higher tiers, by images and audio), receiving responses grounded in the method and in the context of the conversation. Lumen keeps memory of your case across conversations to provide continuity.
The Service is provided online, accessible via browser at ia.lucianocastro.com.br. There are no time-of-day restrictions, but usage is governed by the monthly quota of each plan.
2. Plans, pricing and quota
- Essential — $9.99/month (or $99/year, two months free). Includes approximately 40 questions/interactions per month and case memory.
- Premium — $19.99/month (or $199/year, two months free). Includes approximately 80 questions/interactions per month, image and audio messages, and extended case memory.
- Elite — $29.99/month (or $299/year, two months free). Includes approximately 150 questions/interactions per month, expanded image and audio allowance, and extended case memory.
"Questions/interactions" is a friendly approximation: each turn of the conversation (your message + Lumen's response) counts as one interaction. The progress bar in the interface shows how much you have used and how much remains. Unused monthly quota does not roll over; optional top-up packs, when purchased, carry over until used.
Prices may change with at least 30 days' prior notice, applying only to future renewals (active plans keep their contracted price until the next renewal). Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your state, calculated automatically.
3. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe in US dollars. We accept major credit and debit cards. We do not store complete card data on our servers; it is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time, without penalty and without justification, by emailing support@lucianocastro.com.br.
After cancellation you keep access to the Service until the end of the period already paid. No charges are made after cancellation. There is no proportional refund of a period already started (except for the refund right described in section 5).
5. Refund policy (7 days, no questions asked)
You have 7 calendar days from your first purchase to request a full refund, no justification needed. After that window, amounts already charged are not refundable — you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
Refund requests should be sent to support@lucianocastro.com.br. The refund is processed by Stripe and may take 5 to 14 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.
6. Support
Support is provided by email only at support@lucianocastro.com.br. We aim to reply within 24 to 48 business hours.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. It is prohibited to:
- Share your account or password with third parties;
- Attempt to bypass the technical quota, scrape the Service, or run artificial request volume;
- Submit content that is illegal, abusive, offensive to third parties, or that violates the image or privacy rights of others;
- Attempt to extract, copy or redistribute the method, internal prompts or knowledge base of the AI for commercial purposes;
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice, depending on severity.
8. Limitations and responsibility — not therapy, not medical advice
Lumen is a coaching and educational tool grounded in a methodology. Its responses reflect the patterns and principles of the method, but do not constitute individualized professional advice, clinical diagnosis, psychological, psychiatric, medical or legal treatment. Testimonials and case stories reflect individual experiences; results vary and no specific outcome is promised.
In situations involving risk to life, domestic violence, suicidal ideation, severe disorders or acute crises, seek help immediately:

- A licensed mental health professional you trust.
We are not responsible for decisions the User makes based on the AI's responses. The User is solely responsible for their choices and actions.
9. Intellectual property
The method, content, brand, design, prompts and infrastructure of Lumen are the exclusive property of LCN Serviços Digitais Ltda and/or Luciano Castro. The User may use the Service for personal purposes. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution or commercial use is prohibited.
The User retains ownership of the content they submit (questions, descriptions of their own case) and grants us a non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the Service, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
10. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, failures of infrastructure providers (Vercel, Anthropic, Cloudflare), or force majeure. Reasonable efforts will be made to restore the Service as quickly as possible.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or in applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or in the interface at least 15 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, where the provider is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights granted to you by the laws of your place of residence.
